Bayern Munich’s 6-4 aggregate victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League (yes, it’s still very sweet) saw the Bavarians overcome their rivals for the first time in 12 years and the club advance to the semi-finals, where they will face Paris Saint Germain in a bid to win the entire competition.
However, the victory over The Whites It wasn’t free. Two photographers were crushed against advertising billboards and injured while celebrating Bayern’s ultras, something that led the VDS (Association of German Sports Journalists) to send a letter to UEFA, demanding an investigation against Bayern.

UEFA investigated Bayern for four different allegations and Munich-based news site Abendzeitung reports (captured by @iMiaSanMia here and here) the outcome of these investigations:
UEFA imposed a fine of 40,000 euros on FC Bayern for “violation of the internal area regulations” against Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena. An additional fine of 14,000 euros was imposed for blocking public hallways. UEFA also issued an additional 5,625 euros for throwing objects. Another fine of 30,000 euros is imposed for spreading a message considered “unacceptable for a sporting event.” In total, the club will have to pay 89,625 euros. There is no ban on fans.
It is another quite considerable fine for the club, but the club can handle it well. A fan sanction for the first leg of PSG’s tie would have been much worse for the club, so it is fortunate that the Bavarians escaped that specific punishment.
