BERLIN (AP) — Fabio Vieira scored in stoppage time and Hamburger SV beat Stuttgart 2-1 for the promoted team’s third Bundesliga win of the season on Sunday.

Stuttgart were pushing for a late winner against 10 men Hamburg, but Angelo Stiller’s free kick went straight at an opponent and Fabio Baldé ran clear down the left before passing the ball to Vieira, who sent the home fans wild by firing inside the left post in the 94th minute.

Hamburg held on after 18-year-old Norwegian Alexander Rössing-Lelesiit was sent off in the 81st minute with his second yellow card for a late challenge on Josha Vagnoman.

Rössing-Lelesiit brilliantly set up Robert Glatzel for the first goal in the 17th, when he beat several defenders and kept his balance after a foul to set up his better-placed teammate.

Deniz Undav scored again to tie Stuttgart.

Undav, 29, was initially rested with other key players after Stuttgart’s Europa League victory over Go Ahead Eagles on Thursday, but came on in the 40th minute for the injured Chris Führich.

Undav grabbed the rebound to equalize in the 54th, after Daniel Heuer Fernandes stopped Jamie Leweling’s initial attempt.

It was the German striker’s sixth goal in three league games for Stuttgart, having provided two assists in the 4-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles.

But Vieira had the last word.

Eintracht Frankfurt hosted Wolfsburg and Mainz visited Freiburg later.

Bayern Munich leads after 12 rounds and set a new record on Saturday for leading after 44 consecutive rounds, including last season.

It was the second weekend in a row that fans have remained silent for the first 12 minutes of matches in protest against the German government’s proposals to tighten security around matches with the possible use of personalized tickets, increased surveillance including facial recognition software and centralized bans in stadiums for supposedly problematic fans. The proposals will be discussed at a Home Office conference on December 3-5.
