While the USC Trojans fell short of their ultimate goal of making the College Football Playoff in Lincoln Riley’s fourth year with the program, there were plenty of bright spots on the roster and reasons to be excited for the future.

One of those bright spots, running back Waymond Jordan, will reportedly remain in that future.

According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, Jordan reached an agreement with the Trojans to return for the 2026 season. The JUCO transfer had a great start to the season, rushing for 576 yards and five touchdowns in his first six games of the season before being sidelined with an injury. He will now return alongside King Miller, giving USC a big 1-2 punch in the backfield for the new season.

While Trojans running back Bryan Jackson announced his intentions to transfer, USC also signed four-star running backs Deshonne Redeaux and Shahn Alston as part of its No. 1 recruiting class, giving USC some more depth at the position.
