Lauderdale County, Alabama (Whnt) – An itinerant veterinarian is accused of threatening a mother who informed the authorities that she was in a sexual relationship with her youngest daughter, according to judicial records.
A affidavit presented by an FBI agent says that Gregory Ford, 52, a veterinarian who is based in Houston, Texas, seems to have violated the federal law regarding threatening communications. This statement comes from a text that researchers say that the child of the child was sent from a phone belonging to Ford.
According to judicial documents, the Sheriff’s Office of the County of Lauderdale took a report in August of a mother about which Ford was involved in a sexual relationship with her daughter.
The affidavit of the FBI agent said the mother discovered texts between Ford and her daughter who were sexually explicit.
As itinerant veterinarian, Ford provided services to farms throughout the United States.
Then, the judicial documents indicate that in a long Ford text message he sent to the mother, he said he threatened that a “friend in the CIA” hurt her.
A position of the Sheriff’s office in Marion County, Florida, shows that Ford was arrested Wednesday by a separate position: sexual assault of a victim between 16 and 17 years. It is not clear at this time if the position is related to the Lauderdale County report, although the Marion County Sheriff’s office said one of its detectives was informed in early September of those accusations.
The Sheriff’s Office of Lauderdale County said the investigation is ongoing, but charges are expected.
