The Ducks lost their first game of the season against No. 7 Indiana, falling to 5-1 and No. 8 in the standings. The Scarlet Knights, however, are on a three-game losing streak and are 3-3 overall.
This is not expected to be close, although Rutgers has home field advantage. That might play a role, but if Oregon expects to be taken seriously, then this “advantage” shouldn’t be a problem.
After starting the season 3-0, the Scarlet Knights are 0-3, all of which are Big Ten losses. The losses haven’t been pretty either, with the opposing team scoring at least 31 in all three games.
