What’s the latest on WR commanders Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown?

Washington commander Terry McLaurin will not practice with the team on Wednesday, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

“You’ll see Noah (Brown) in practice today, Terry won’t,” Quinn said at Wednesday’s news conference. “With the extra day, we’ll work with Terry to see where we are.”

McLaurin has been sidelined for the past two weeks with a quadriceps injury for Washington. In his absence, the Commanders lost a game to the Atlanta Falcons and most recently pulled off an impressive comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers.

In just three games this season, McLaurin has had 10 receptions for 149 yards and is averaging nearly 15 yards per catch.

The Commanders face the Chicago Bears on the Week 6 edition of Monday Night Football, where they will look to improve to 4-2, hopefully with McLaurin on the field.

“We’re optimistic,” Quinn said. “We will have more information as the week progresses.”

Brown was injured in the Week 2 loss at Green Bay and has missed the last three games with groin and knee injuries.
