Currently, all the participants in this production, which dates back to 1892, are from Dumfries and Galloway, but that will change next season.

Saltire City FC, who play at Budhill Park in Shettleston, will take on their southern rivals.
But how did a team from Glasgow become the northernmost team in the league?
The man behind the club, Paul Davies, has been involved in football for a long time, most recently with Glasgow Girls FC.
About a year and a half ago he began considering the possibility of forming a team and joining the SOSFL.
“That process started 16 months ago, when there was no entry into the West of Scotland Football League (WOSFL),” he said.
“The only entry you could get was if a team withdrew.”

He said he decided to continue his dialogue with the SOSFL even as a league restructuring occurred in the WOSFL that could have allowed his team to enter.
“I just felt like, having coached there for seven or eight years, I was pretty saturated,” he said.
“From where we play in Glasgow, we probably have five or six teams around the area and we are all competing for the same type of player.
“We wanted to see a different type of player and do it more like a player and I felt like the SOSFL gave us that opportunity.”
He said he was confident his team could hold its own in the league.

“We can go and be competitive,” he said.
“We can look at the 17- to 24-year-old players and also challenge them that they probably wouldn’t make it in the fourth or third division in the West.”
They currently have around 10 players signed up and hope to have a full team by the end of March.
They have also been working with a company on using artificial intelligence to identify players they can develop.
And what would success look like in your first year?
“Be competitive in the league, get there with a young team and compete with teams,” Paul said.

“Use the first year as a starting point to know where we want to be.
“I had a look, I was at St Cuthberts the other night and my assistant coach was a coach in that league with St Cuthberts.
“We have a good idea of the league and its level.”
The SOSFL is currently looking for more teams to join its ranks and has welcomed Saltire City on board.
They are set to lose a couple of teams to the new Lowland League West setup and have been casting their nets outside their traditional heartland.
That could mean more teams from beyond the Dumfries and Galloway boundaries will soon sign up.
