Will Seahawks running back Jadarian Price put up rookie numbers in 2026?

Jadarian Price is primed to have a breakout season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2026.

The circumstances surrounding Price’s upcoming rookie season create a situation in which he will be given ample opportunities to make his presence felt in Seattle’s offensive backfield. Seahawks starting running back Zach Charbonnet will begin next season on the shelf with a torn ACL. Price, the No. 32 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, is in line to absorb much of his workload in 2026 until Charbonnet returns.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Eva Geitheim, Price is projected to rush for 767 yards on 150 carries and score seven touchdowns next season.

“Jadarian Price comes to Seattle as Kenneth Walker III’s replacement, but will split carries with Zach Charbonnet and the Seahawks backfield,” Geitheim said. “Charbonnet is coming off a torn ACL, but should return to play sometime in 2026.”

The price has it all. Size, speed, quickness and the ability to accelerate after maneuvering through defenses are attributes of his that will translate well to the NFL level. He had 710 rushing yards per season in his final two years at Notre Dame and averaged 116.5 carries per season.

The Seahawks have veteran running backs behind Price who will call carries themselves next season. However, Price still has the skills and talent to compete for the 2026 AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award next season with a healthy workload to handle.
