According to TMZ, a first photo has emerged showing Sean “Diddy” Combs in prison for the first time.

According to TMZ, Diddy is shown walking “through the prison yard” on October 31. See the photo here.

Combs is listed in the Federal Bureau of Prisons database. It provides you with this information:

  • He is incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix. That prison’s website describes it as a “low-security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum-security satellite camp.” Fort Dix is located in New Jersey.

  • Combs’ release date is May 8, 2028.

  • He is listed in prison system records as Sean Combs, 55, registration number 37452-054. The inmate houses 4,128 “male offenders.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hasn’t been seen much in public since he was jailed

The federal courthouse where Combs was tried does not allow cameras. Therefore, the public only saw him through the drawings of the court cartoonists during his trial.

Previously, ABC News reported that Diddy was first transferred to the New Jersey prison on Thursday, October 31. She is serving a four-year prison sentence for “transportation for the purpose of prostitution,” according to ABC.

Why was Sean Combs transferred to Fort Dix?

Why Fort Dix? According to ABC, Combs’ team requested the transfer to that prison because “it offers a special drug treatment problem,” and could reduce the time of his sentence if he can complete it.

ABC News reported that Combs is housed in a special “drug program unit” and not with the general population. It’s unclear how TMZ obtained the photo.

According to CNN, Combs’ team also preferred Fort Dix so the mogul could be close to his family. Although his sentence was four years, CNN noted that he will only serve 2.5 years because the time he already spent in prison was subtracted from his total sentence. That is, unless Combs emerges victorious in the appeal he plans to file or somehow obtains a pardon or commutation of his sentence.

According to CNN, Fort Dix has housed other high-profile inmates in the past, such as Joe Giudice from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

There is a commissary where inmates can buy food, but the prison will make a dramatic difference from the life of luxury Combs led before his incarceration. According to CNN, inmates can buy “rice cakes at the commissary for $5.75, albacore tuna for $3.75 and Pop Tarts for $2.85.”

According US Weekly, Fort Dix “was initially founded as a military installation to train troops in 1917” and is located about 75 miles south of New York City.
