One of the greatest stories that came out of the fourth consecutive victory of the Eagles was about the tweets that the WR shared after the Bucs game alluded to its frustration with the offensive. Brown spoke with journalists on Wednesday after the issue of his discontent had impregnated local and national media for days, and clear the air.
“First of all, I want to start saying, obviously, on Sunday after the game, I let my frustrations become. I did not talk to the media. I had the opportunity to correct my frustrations and continued letting it get rid and that was put into account. I put a total responsibility on that.
My message on Twitter was not addressed to anyone in the building, or my coaches, not my field marshal, my GM, nobody. I take full responsibility. I have an open communication with all my coaches and with my field marshal, too. Me and my coaches – KP (Kevin Patullo), Nick (Sirianni) – We discuss weekly about trying to get this on the same page ”.
Then Brown was asked about what he was frustrated specifically, and elaborated a little.
“I think it is normal to have frustrations due to the standard to which we stay.
We need to clean what we need to clean and get on the same page and play with the ability we say, and be the ones who are called to be. It is a standard that we preach. So it is easy to have that frustration. I think it’s fair to have that frustration. But I can’t let that boil. “
