BOSTON — An explosion occurred early Saturday at Harvard Medical School and appeared to have been intentional, but no one was injured, authorities said.
University Police said in a statement that a university police officer who responded to a fire alarm attempted to stop two unknown people who escaped from the Goldenson building before going to the place where the alarm was raised.
The Boston Fire Department determined the explosion was intentional, and officers did not find additional devices while searching the building, police said.
Police posted grainy photos of two people wearing face coverings and what looked like sweatshirts.
