Oro Valley, Areez – He surprised the shoppers in the southern Arizona grocery store when it walked across the front door and ran inside for a few minutes before leaving the building.
During the weekend, the bear was seen in the neighborhood near the Fry site and was monitored again on Monday behind the store before entering it.
Darren Wright, a spokesman for the Euro Valley Police Department, said that immediately before the store entered, the animal collided against automatic doors and was able to walk at the end.
“He was just running,” said Wright. “I don’t think it was damaged.”
A video that was captured by a shopping man showed a bear inside the store. After looking at his phone, the man looked up to find the bear in several feet of him. The bear fled from the man.
The animal was seen at some point in the store department in the store, but it is not believed to have taken anything. An officer who was close to the store arrived at the store and worked to get people out of the building. The authorities lost the bear following the bear after leaving the store.
“We had many bear scenes in the Euro Valley,” Wright said. “We sometimes get out of the desert. But this is the most interesting interaction with one.”
