In a career full of accolades, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is no stranger to winning awards. This week, he added to his proverbial trophy case with the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for his performance in Buffalo’s 39-34 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14.

Allen completed 22 of 28 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns, two of which came on fourth-down plays, against the Bengals. His first touchdown pass was an absurd 11-yard pass to wide receiver Khalil Shakir. Facing a fourth down and a 14-3 deficit, Allen extended the play, rolled to his right and threw a pass in triple coverage that nearly hit a Cincinnati linebacker in the helmet.

His second touchdown pass was less dramatic, as he hit tight end Dalton Kincaid on an angled route to bring the Bills within three with five minutes left in the third quarter. For his final touchdown pass, Allen hit tight end Jackson Hawes on a fourth-and-goal to push Buffalo’s lead to 39-28 with three minutes left in the game.

Aside from his passing success, Allen was also incredible as a runner. He carried nine times for 78 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown run to give the Bills life in the fourth quarter. The touchdown, which was the longest touchdown run of Allen’s regular season career, brought Buffalo within three points with seven minutes left in the game. Allen also gained 17 yards in a scramble with the Bills facing 3rd and 15 late in the game. If Buffalo hadn’t converted, they would have had to kick the ball back to the Bengals, but thanks to Allen’s run, they were able to take a knee twice to end the game.

This is Allen’s third Player of the Week award during the 2025 NFL season. He previously won the award in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens and Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is the 18th time Allen has won the AFC Player of the Week award in his career.
