Cal Raleigh was about to arrive.

And if this seems an exaggeration, it really is not. When you connect 60 homers in the regular season, you really owe it if you have not connected homers in the first two games in a series.

In game 3 of the ALDS, the receiver of the Seattle sailors showed that this is true.

He launched a homer towards the deep of the left and central garden in Erica Park in Detroit, a sign of exclamation in an 8-1 victory that gave the sailors a 2-1 advantage in the series.

After those 60 homers in the regular season, he was the first in the playoffs for Raleight, reaching 61 in the season.

His homer went to the perfect fan.

There was a guy beyond the bullpen that had a shirt that said: “Dump Here 61”, an ode to the nickname of Raleigh’s Big Dumper and the number of his pending home run.

Somehow, of all the places in the stadium where I could go, Raleigh’s home run made a direct leap to the type of that shirt.

What are the chances of this happening?

In this magical season for Raleight, it somehow makes sense to achieve the feat of finding the perfect fan to get this baseball.

However, the best part may have been the postdata.

The fan took off the 61 -shirt and under the matching shirt with 62.

Raleight would not have the opportunity to connect his homer number 62 in game 3. But maybe he and the fan achieved this in game 4.
