Hunt carried the ball a season-high 30 times and became the Chiefs’ first 100-yard rusher this year with 104 and a touchdown. The veteran running back was able to shake off a fumble late in the game to lead the team in rushing in a must-win game.
The latest honor joins him with teammate Patrick Mahomes for winning Player of the Week this season. Mahomes collected his awards in Weeks 4 and 6 against the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions.
