A man who interrupted a university classroom to shout insults and gave Nazis greetings about the tolerance paradox in the difficult way.

This week, multiple videos have circulated showing the saga that occurred after a man then identified as Sam Polyak interrupted a psychology conference at the University of Washington.

According to a student’s account, the first time he entered the conference room, gave Nazi greeting and used a racial insult. But then he returned approximately 40 minutes later to cause more problems.

“He entered again and began to call us degenerates to learn the material, a lot of insults, basically a lot of harmful rhetoric,” said Ashlyn Anderson, a class student, King 5. “Many of us were not going to tolerate that.”

And that is where viral videos enter. A clip shows Polyak stopped in the front of the classroom while the students overwhelm that they booed him and tell him to come out. Two students finally get up and pursue it, and others begin to follow them, one by one.

After that, you can see Polyak outside, filming the multitude of the students while they continue to shout that he leaves. A woman who seems to be the teacher takes the lead, leaving her class, turning to Polyak and guiding the march towards him. The video from Polisak’s perspective shows how many of the students gathered to see it.

It can be heard that Polyak complains that he complains that there are 30 of them and only one of him (although the real relationship seems significantly higher) and states: “He continues to teach these children degenerate the nonsense.”

Finally, Polyak began to run, although the crowd reached it and, according to the reports, surrounded it until security came to escort it outside the campus.

It is not clear if something else happened in the brief moments that Polyak was out of the camera. It seemed unharmed, but then he told King 5 that he had cuts and bruises.

Unfortunately for Polyak, just because a group of people advocates tolerance for all does not mean that it will not resist someone who interrupts peace with their own violent and degrading rhetoric. This is how it works.

According to King 5, Polyak went to be a neo -Nazi and said he wandered the campus and the conference only “for Troll.”

In this particular moment in time, seeing people face Nazi garbage and refusing to simply turn the other cheek or disagree is quite refreshing. Despite the occasional resignations that violence is never the answer (and the occasional tears of Nazi supporters), the overwhelming response of online people was to encourage these students for how they handled things.

The University of Washington confirmed that Polyak, which is not a student, has been expelled from the campus, and can follow the criminal charges against him.

“The incident on Wednesday in which an individual interrupted a conference in Kane Hall, while apparently does Nazi greetings and launching insults to the instructor and the students is completely unacceptable,” said a spokesman. “The UW undertakes to maintain a safe environment and will continue to do everything possible to guarantee the security of our community.”
