Indian wind energy solutions provider Inox Wind has secured new wind power orders totaling 229 MW, further strengthening its project pipeline and solidifying its position as a preferred partner among renewable energy developers.
The company agreed to supply wind turbine generators to a national independent power producing company.
This order includes a firm order for 112MW, with the option to expand by an additional 48MW.
The scope of the contract also includes limited scope engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services, along with multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) support after project commissioning.
Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind, stated: “The order intake is a strong endorsement of our advanced 3MW class turbine technology as well as our growing footprint in India’s renewable energy sector.
“We are also in advanced stages of discussions with many other customers and should secure additional orders soon, aiming to close FY26 (financial year 2026) with a net order book that covers our execution plans for the next 18 to 24 months.”
Inox Wind, part of the INOXGFL Group, has also secured a repeat order for 69 MW from another renewable energy player that is part of a major global clean energy company. This project will be implemented in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
The repeat order follows a 153MW contract received from the same customer in March 2025, highlighting the growing relationship and trust between the two companies.
Kailash Tarachandani, CEO, INOXGFL Group Renewables, said: “We are delighted to have received these significant orders totaling 229 MW from our valued partners. The new customer orders, as well as repeat orders from existing customers, highlight the trust our customers place in our technology, execution capabilities and long-term service excellence.
“Inox Wind remains the preferred partner for large renewable energy developers in India.”
