Jasmine Crockett on Wednesday conceded the Democratic primary in her Texas Senate race to James Tallarico.
The congresswoman called on the party to unite behind the state representative He received the nomination overnight.
“Texas is poised to turn blue and we must stay united because this is bigger than any one person,” Crockett said in a statement. “This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track.”
The Crockett campaign had previously suggested it would file a lawsuit over voting challenges in the primary. The official spokesman did not immediately respond to a question about these plans.
