Nashville, Tennessee (AP) – Kilmar Abrego García, who was unfairly deported from the United States to his native El Salvador and whose case became a point of inflammation on the repression of immigration of President Donald Trump, moved from a detention center in Virginia to an installation in Pennsylvania.

Judicial records show that the immigration and customs application on Friday notified Abrego García’s lawyers who was transferred to the Moshannon Valley processing center in Phillipsburg. He said the location would make it easier for them to access him.

However, their lawyers raised concerns about the conditions in Moshannon, saying that there have been recent reports of “assaults, inadequate medical care and insufficient foods”, according to a presentation of the Federal Court.

The Trump administration has affirmed that Abrego García was a member of the MS-13 gang, an accusation he denies and for which he was not accused.

The administration returned to Abrego García to the United States in June, but only to face human smuggling positions. His lawyers have described the absurd and vindictive case.
