Moves like Matt Hardy’s Twist of Fate have fueled wrestling fans and inspired aspiring wrestlers for generations. After signing with WWE in 2022, “WWE NXT” star Sol Ruca has been a standout over the past three years, and his finisher Sol Snatcher is building his own legacy, similar to Hardy’s. Coming off a big win over first-ever women’s Grand Slam champion and veteran of the trade, Bayley, Hardy offers some critical feedback to Ruca’s finisher before revealing her thoughts on their match in Saturday night’s Main Event.

“I know she’s very talented. I think that finisher is going to be something that, as you get older, you’ll regret doing,” Hardy warned on his “Extreme Life” podcast. “But the match was done very cleverly because, first of all, I respected the match they had. Bayley is a very clever performer. They didn’t prostitute anything there. The things they brought out were things that were totally knockout. They didn’t prostitute the finishes. They had these great sequences. They were innovative and, like you said… they thought a lot, maybe they structured the match to get a specific reaction… Nothing they did was damaged by kicking it, or underplaying it, or I’m not selling it. I love it, I love it, I love it the fact that she hit her finisher, the Sol Snatcher, and then Bayley was on the ropes underneath, and they retreated, but after that they went straight to the finish… I love that fact. I loved how they ended that match.

With the help of Sol Snatcher, Ruca won the WWE NXT North American Women’s and Women’s Sprint Championships. Recognizing that those reigns and her match against Bayley are stepping stones to establishing her own name as a household brand, she took her confidence to a new level by challenging Chelsea Green for the WWE United States Women’s Championship. Despite falling short in the match, her good vibes will surely reach new and bigger waters in 2026.
