The Shreveport Police Department has identified one of the alleged shooters in the mass shooting that occurred on September 20.
Rasson Smith Jr., 21, has been identified as one of the shooters, and an active order has been issued for an attempted second degree murder. According to the Shreveport Police Department, they are probably additional charges as the investigation continues.
Police said Smith is an alleged member of the gang and is considered armed and dangerous. Multiple sources of information indicated that they do not hesitate to use a firearm.
Police believe that additional suspects were involved, and more arrests and charges are expected as evidence develops.
What happened on September 20?
Just after 2 in the morning, on September 20, the Shreveport Police Department was sent to the 1600 block of Poland Avenue for reports of a mass shooting.
Upon arrival, the officers met a chaotic scene with two dead people and six wounds. According to the police, there were more than 150 people gathered in this place when the shots rang.
Through preliminary information, it was suggested that the attack was attacked and multiple handles were involved.
The planned objective for the attack was achieved, but suffered injuries that did not enhance life.
