President Donald Trump has lashed out at another late-night TV show host for not bowing at his feet in humble praise.

“NBC’s Seth Meyers may be the least talented live ‘acter’ in the history of television,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday. “In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise.”

In his “A Closer Look” segment on Thursday Late Night with Seth Meyers On the show, Meyers hosted a segment called “Seth Translates Trump into English,” in which he referenced a speech Trump gave to U.S. Navy troops stationed off the coast of Japan this week.

“If anyone dares to say anything less than enthusiastic, Trump loses his mind,” Meyers said, explaining the president’s fury over Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer’s negative criticism of his trip to East Asia.

“Trump thinks if you say something bad about him, it’s treason,” Meyers added.

Almost proving his point, Trump lashed out at Meyers, suggesting that being “anti-Trump” might actually be illegal.

“Why is NBC wasting their time and money on a guy like this? NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!”

It is not the first time that the 51-year-old comedian has been criticized by the president. In January, Trump attacked Meyers with another late-night Truth Social rant, mocking him as “Marble Mouth Meyers” and “just a space filler for the scum who run Comcast.”

In August, Trump again placed his bets on Meyers, complaining to Truth Social that “a sick rumor was circulating that Fake News NBC” had extended Meyers’ contract. (Meyers’ contract was extended in May 2024 through 2028.) “He has no qualifications, talent or intelligence, and he has the personality of an insecure child,” Trump continued, before promising to get to the bottom of why the network would “extend this fool’s contract.”

Meyers said it was “kind of nice” to be on the president’s radar, following Trump’s attacks on other late-night hosts, including Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon.

In July, Trump celebrated the cancellation of the No. 1 late-night show, The last show with Stephen Colbert, which was quickly announced after its host described a legal settlement between Paramount and Trump as a “bribe.”

Trump also welcomed Kimmel’s suspension following comments he made about the murder of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. Jimmy Kimmel live! he was reinstated by ABC after public outcry.

In Thursday’s segment, Meyers analyzed Trump’s rambling speech in which he vacillated between the effects of water on magnets and his preference for steam-powered catapults.

“He went on and on, a truly deranged lunatic,” Trump wrote, describing Meyers’ description of his own speech.

Meyers has yet to respond to Trump’s attack, but posted the offensive segment in question on social media following the president’s outburst.
