Two inmates facing charges including murder escaped from a Georgia prison Sunday night.
Ricky Martin, 20, and Kentravius Holmes, 21, were being held at the Sumter County Jail in Americus, Georgia, about 139 miles (234 km) south of Atlanta. They were being held on charges including murder, aggravated assault and aggravated battery, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
They escaped at around 9:30 pm on Sunday.
