Blackwell, who previously earned the nod the week of Dec. 8, averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 rebounds in leading UW to a 2-0 record against Minnesota and Rutgers on Jan. 13 and Jan. 17, respectively. The 6-foot-4 senior was one of two Big Ten playmakers to bag the nod this week along with Maryland guard Diggy Coit.

Most notably, the Michigan native hit a three-point shot at the buzzer to lift the Badgers over the Golden Gophers in Minneapolis on Jan. 13, a game in which he finished with 27 touchdowns, six rebounds and five dimes while going 8-for-14 from the field in 34 minutes of action.
Against the Scarlet Knights, Blackwell had 19 points, five rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes on the court, marking the thirteenth game of the 2025 season in which he accumulated at least 10 points.
In 17 appearances, the third-year Badger is averaging 18.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in over 32 minutes per game. He ranks second on the team in scoring and rebounding behind transfer guard Nick Boyd and senior center Nolan Winter, respectively.Advertisement
Wisconsin is currently 13-5 (5-2 Big Ten) with a game against Penn State scheduled for Jan. 22 at University Park.
