Leeds United is proud to be once again next to the broader soccer community to support the annual FA game campaign, reiterating the importance of safeguarding at all levels of football.

The Play Safe campaign, which will take place from Saturday, September 27 to Sunday, September 28, 2025, is backed by the Premier League, EFL, Barclays Women’s Super League and the Women’s Barclays championship for the fourth consecutive season and is directed by the FA in association with the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPC).

This year, the theme of the campaign is titled ‘Small Talk is bigger than you think’ and focuses on giving young people a voice. It is a call to action for each adult in football to create open conversations, ask questions and actively listen to children of all ages.

For the club, the Leeds United Foundation and the Leeds United Academy, protection is a commitment throughout the year and a shared responsibility to guarantee a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all.

The club will continue to commit to build a safer game so that everyone feels safe.
