An 18 -year -old is fighting for life after receiving a shot outside the Wembley stadium, police said.

The officers were called to Atlantic Crescent around 5.30 in the morning on Sunday morning for reports of a shooting outside the stadium in northwestern London. They found an 18 -year -old boy with a shooting injury.

He was urgently taken to an important trauma center where he remains in critical condition, according to the Metropolitan Police.

The adolescent’s relatives have been informed and are being supported by officers. There have been no arrests at this stage and consultations are ongoing. The officers remain on the scene and Wembley’s South Way has been blocked.

The Superintendent Chief Tony Josephs, of the local surveillance team in northwestern London, said: “We recognize the impact and impact that this incident will have on the community.

“We also send a trauma equipment in a car from the London Air Ambulance,” they added. “We treat a patient on the scene and take him to an important trauma center.”

The bus of Route 440, between Turnham Green and Wembley first, has been diverted in both addresses, according to Transport for London, who cited a “police incident.”

A statement on the website said: “The buses towards Wembley are ending at the Brent Civic Center (E), without service between the Olympic form and the first way. Buses towards Turnham Green are starting from Lakesis Way (C), without service at the stops first, the Olympic form and the Brent Civic Center.”
