West Palm Beach, Florida – Golden Assad Tamarin and Hoffmann has become two times the room colleagues in a new home in Palm Beach Zoo and the Preservation Association In Florida.
Both types are citizens of South American forests, which is why new habitats are characterized by a thick umbrella of trees. The Golden Tamarin, with the distinctive orange sheet, loved the heads of trees, while the lazy tall is completely suspended from the trees.
“The Tammarians may consider laziness as more furniture because they do not really do much. They are more stable,” said Divin Clark, the first supervisor in the zoo. “They love sleeping during the day, and a little more active at night. So just watch, as you know, like the sofa that wanders at night is not very frightening for them.”
Habitos, which were opened in late August, provides an unique space for interaction with each other – or in mind. Zoo officials said the space has a network of chrome, ropes and tunnels that encourage exploration.
Clark said: “Just the ability to see them closely and the personality is really a way to inspire communication,” Clark said. As soon as people start getting this contact and sheltering this relationship with the wild animal, they are able to look at their lives and say: “What can I do differently to help the counterparts of these wild animals in Brazil and the Central America flourishes? “
He said that in the 1970s, there were less than 200 golden beads in the wild. About 40 zoos approved through the Association of Zoos and Motherhood together have a plan to reformulate species to the wild. He said that their numbers topped 5,000 as of last year.
Clark said that the former home of Tamarin in the zoo was a little smaller.
He added: “We wanted to be able to give them a better luxury, and thus enhance their lives with enrichment, with the space, so that they can act a little more natural.”
Memorization is part of the Palm Beach Zoo, so the original Florida plants are part of the new habitats.
Clark said: “The cultivation of these original plants in Florida inside these habitats is a great way to highlight something we can do in our homes.” “Even if you have an apartment, you only need to place a vessel preserved, which is an original factory in Florida that helps a kind of stimulating the ecosystem that we have here in South Florida.”
Margo McKenite, President and CEO of the Zoo Company, said the new habitat provides an opportunity for visitors to obtain a closer vision of two types.
“We hope to enhance the love of wildlife in wild places, including our background. We hope that every person will leave an inspiring to be a hero of wildlife in their community,” she said.
